Gudmundur Ingólfsson

Gudmundur Igolfsson has been a commercial and documentary photographer in Reykjavík for nearly fourty years. After studying with Otto Steinert at the Folkwang College of Art in Essen, Germnay, he returned to Iceland in 1971 and started a family and a business, IMYND. He has speacialized in photographing illustrations of advertising, theater and opera, food photography, architecture photography, and reprodution and documentation of artwork has also been on his list of assignments for many years. Where personal projects are concerned, he is dedicated to documenting the evolution of Reykjavík's urban landscape, as well as Iceland's rural landscapes.
